to manage and coordinate a number of activities for Citura.

Citura is a brand under which Provimi sells feed ingredients to customers throughout the world. 
These sales activities are conducted by focused local sales teams which are part of our Cluster organisations. Globally coordinated support will leverage the global scope of Provimi in these efforts.

The main focus of this role is to support Citura feed ingredients sales throughout Provimi by aligning product portfolio, coordinating logistical solutions, and disseminating market information.

Main tasks:
  • Manage Provimis’ global ingredients portfolio, working closely with Provimis’ global 3PO purchasing organization
  • Identify and select ingredients that will be included in the global portfolio
  • Secure timely and accurate demand planning for Citura ingredients from Clusters and promptly report information to 3PO
  • Continually update Citura Scorecard, monitor financial results, and report progress to senior management
  • Assist Clusters with supply chain and logistics issues
  • Regularly review global ingredients portfolio to assure application and relevance in Provimi markets
  • Support Clusters (Managing Directors, Cluster Citura Business Unit Managers) after they have identified their specific Cluster ingredients portfolio, based on their market demands and drivers
  • Determine allocation of ingredients to Clusters, particularly in situations of scarcity or specific margin opportunities in Cluster markets.
  • Manage and develop ingredients’ product packaging, labelling, and promotional materials
  • In cooperation with 3PO, identify ingredients from external suppliers / sources that could be Citura branded ingredients
  • Coordinate global ingredients pricing levels to maximize margins and eliminate internal competition
  • Communicate regularly with Provimi Group Vice Presidents to provide updates on activities and promote harmony among Clusters related to ingredients sales
  • Other duties as assigned

Profile:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience within the feed industry, whereas sales, purchasing, and/or materials management, are good qualities for a successful candidate.
  • University degree
  • International business environment background.
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbally and in writing)

Reports:
  • The position of Citura Business Development Manager will report to the designated Group Vice President with a dotted-line reporting to the Global Micro Ingredient Manager (Procurement Department).

Work location and Travel
  • Job location: European based, preferably Rotterdam (The Netherlands)
  • Ability to travel frequently (national and internationally)
